The Rum Slinger is a rum subscription service where every month a premium rum is selected and delivered direct to your home.
The Rum Slinger were looking to update their Ecommerce and subscription solution to something that offers more flexibility and greater subscription management, as they were hitting limitations with their current Squarespace set up.
Working closely with Paul Smith Design, we delivered a new website that incorporates the Rum Slinger branding and gives greater ecommerce and subscription management and functionality.
Once the new website was built, a migration of customers, orders, products and subscriptions from Squarespace to WooCommerce was carried out ensuring that there was no break in subscriptions or customers having to re-subscribe. All subscription payments were also aligned to be paid on the same day rather than being spread out across the month which was a project requirement.
The new site now has FAQs, upsells, a new shop, giftbox product and gives clear reporting on how the shop and subscriptions are performing.
